Yes. Photos are processed for recognition, then discarded. Your log lives on your device and in your iCloud. We never sell or share data with anyone, ever.

On common foods, dishes, and packaged items: yes, and well. It's not magic. Weird angles or mixed plates can need a tap to adjust, but it's drastically faster than searching a database.

Can I use Bitey without an Apple Watch?

Absolutely. The watch is a companion, not a requirement. Everything works on iPhone alone.

Does Bitey support my diet (keto, vegan, Mediterranean, etc.)?

Bitey doesn't prescribe a diet, it tracks what you eat. You can set macro targets to fit any approach, or ignore them entirely and just count calories.

What iOS version do I need?

iOS 17 or later. Apple Watch companion needs watchOS 10+.

Can I cancel Pro anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes, through your App Store subscriptions. You keep Pro until the period ends, then drop to Free, your data stays untouched.

Does Bitey work offline?

Manual logging and recents work offline. Photo and barcode scanning need a connection for the AI to do its thing.

Not yet. iOS-only so we can go deep on one platform. Android is on the roadmap.
